Currency in Türkiye

The official currency is Turkish Liras. Exchange rates are published daily by Republic of Türkiye Central Bank. But widely used foreign currencies like Euro, Dollars and Pound are accepted in many shops and hotels of the city. Apart from this credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Diners Club etc.) can be used.

Climate

In the Cappadocia region, continental climate prevails in general. In other words, winters are very harsh and cold, while summers are hot and dry. While temperatures are 30 degrees and above on approximately twenty days of the year, the temperature drops below zero degrees on seventy days. During the congress average daytime temperature is around 30°.
